Nell W. Chesley
Artist Statement:
Drawing and painting beautiful, light filled subjects or making ordinary subjects beautiful with color and light is Nell’s passion. She may draw the subject directly on the canvas with her brush or transfer a detailed perspective drawing to the canvas for the painting. Nell chooses to use water based oils since they provide the same colors and longevity while being environmentally responsible. She does studio and plein air painting. Interesting architecture and gardens are favorite subjects.
